SHIRIKI COFFEE

In our endeavor to develop a coffee drinking culture in Kenya, Kenya Co-operative Coffee Dealers exists as a subsidiary of Kenya Co-operative Coffee Exporters with the aim of value-adding coffee under the brand name Shiriki.  Shiriki currently has three blends: Halisi, Lifestyle and Gold blend- our premium blend.

You can buy Shiriki nationally in all Uchumi, Naivas and Mathais supermarkets.

In the 2009, Kenya Co-operative Coffee Exporters was formed by some key co-operatives that needed a platform onto which to market their coffee to direct buyers. Some of the co-operatives included:

– Othaya Farmers’ Co-operative Society Limited

– Boma Farmers’ Co-operative Society

– Aguthi Farmers’ Co-operative Society

– Rumukia Farmers’ Co-operative Society

– Kambusu Farmers’ Co-operative Society

Over the years the number of shareholders has continued to grow.
